PRIMARY STRENGTHS: The defense returns most of last year’s starters that helped the Golden Flashes stay competitive. Nix is an all-conference player that foes must double-team. The defense could be even better in 2012 with an influx of experienced starters returning.
POTENTIAL PROBLEMS: The instability at quarterback could derail the Golden Flashes. Keith and Fisher are the two main candidates for a position that has been a problem for Kent State for years. Goode and Archer are two players the Golden Flashes are counting on put up some points.
