Jase Franke – Noteworthy – Injury
DE Jase Franke will miss the remainder of the season after the redshirt senior sustained a torn ACL against Southern California. The defensive end had 10 tackles, including three for loss, and two sacks. “It’s really sad losing Jase,” Mike MacIntyre said. “It’s the end of his career. It was really heartbreaking. He’s done a great job here for us as a player. Hurting your knee is hard enough, but when you know it’s over, that’s really hard.”
Laviska Shenault Jr. – Noteworthy – Injury
WR Laviska Shenault Jr. is listed as day-to-day while he recovers from a toe injury sustained at USC. The sophomore leads the nation with 130 yards per game to go along with 11 touchdowns (five rushing).
Travon McMillian – Noteworthy
RB Travon McMillian saw his streak of three straight 100-yard efforts come to an end versus the Trojans. The senior transfer from Virginia Tech manage just 32 yards, his lowest output since rushing for 25 yards in Week 2 against Nebraska. McMillian (93.3 yards per game) has 540 yards and four touchdowns on the year, as well as four 100-yard performances.
